Working topography: My first day of work 1/30/17

Hello dear friends, in this post I will tell you a little about my first day of work, although it was a little difficult, I tried a bit of taking photos to show you about what this work is like.

The first thing I must say is What is topography?

Very simple my friends, topography is the science that studies the set of principles and procedures that aims at the graphic representation of the earth's surface, with its forms and details. In short, the surveyor is responsible for giving the engineer the most relevant points on the surface of the work so that the engineer is located in the plane and on the surface of the earth to continue his work.

In my case, my uncle offered to work with him in his construction company, he is a surveyor, so he was offered a job and accepted. Today, we went to do our work and were told that it was the project that is currently being implemented.

The project is being done in San Antonio - Miranda - Venezuela and is based on eliminating a stream that is currently contaminated with sewage.

At the bottom of this picture you can observe the workers doing their jobs, they fit the tubes thanks to a crane that they say "pen" and then press them with special clamps that give the force necessary to fit them.

These tubes go above a base, my job today was to place points on each of the points of the base since they had previously made the points and moved them to bury the tubes in the ground, therefore the bases were diverted So we now have to see in which coordinates are each end of the base to make corrections and eliminate the tubes that were diverted.

Our job is to take the points at each end of the pipe using this apparatus made only for the use of surveyors

After having the points of each of the extremes, this is downloaded to the PC in a program called AUTOCAD and that's where the corrections will be made, seeing the original plan of the project and these points that we gave them today for tomorrow Reposition where the bases really go and release that part of the work for the placement of the 30 "tubes that go above these bases.
