In the society today, people are most driven to do things in thought of how people would see them. Especially in this age of social media, where nothing is hidden and what tries to stay hidden is inevitably exposed. We don't do things that truly make us happy and we take for granted the little blessings of life. Here are 12 steps of self care we need to learn and adhere to.

  1. If it feels wrong, don't do it.
    It is all about doing what is right, making sure we obey our conscience.

  2. Say exactly what you mean.
    Most people say one thing and mean another thing. Hence the saying, "i am responsible for what i say but i am not responsible for what you think". Though there is an element of truth in that, it is best to be clear in what we tell people and avoid deceiving them.

  3. Don't be a people pleaser.
    Always try to be yourself and live for yourself also. Pleasing people and displeasing yourself is quite unhealthy.

  4. Trust your instincts.
    Instincts are innate, always try to trust yourself and people will trust you too.

  5. Never speak bad about yourself

  6. Never give up on your dreams

  7. Don't be afraid to say no

  8. Don't be afraid to say yes

  9. Be kind to yourself

  10. Let go of what you can't control
    You are human, not everything is within your control. Trust that the universe has got you and move on.

  11. Stay away from drama & negativity
    These can bring you down faster than a bullet. In most cases it becomes obssesive and you cannot let go.

  12. LOVE
    Always give love and accept love everyday.
