FOR A MINUTE OR TWO I COULD SEE

It is so horrible out there. The system for doing things is so complicated. Just buying some lemons was a major ordeal. Long lines, computerized payment system. The cashier is either bored, hates their job, is rude, or incompetent. Very nasty just trying to get anything done.

For a minute or two I could see how a steady diet of these kinds of interactions with no access to higher consciousness could very easily lead to someone going on a mass murder rampage.
