The Mosquito and the Deer Mouse,
were having a conversation.
The Mouse sat upon a ‘shroom,
upon which he had just dined,
The Mosquito had just nibbled upon
The Mouse, so they
Were both fiddling fine.
Their talk ranged in topic, from
The quality of the moon, to the
Strange lights they both
Were seeing around them, and
The odd sounds in the
Night.
What a strange sight to see,
There in the Dark; the
Fungus, the Rodent and the Shrew.
‘Shrooms have their magic,
As do the little
Things of the wild; and
Just as they do,
So does the
Imagination of a child.
