The way to remove termites and insect infestations in the winter in North Dakota:
Pour a little bit of antifreeze in each sink and toilet. About a cup each should do it.
Place all freezable liquids in the refrigerator.
Turn on all lights.
Dress warmly. Under armor is a must.
Turn off thermostats.
Open all doors and windows and leave the house for 2 hours.
Upon returning spray all pilot light areas such as gas stoves, heaters, and water with a NON-FLAMMABLE Insecticide, not one from a spray can.
Sweep up and dispose the carcasses of all the dead around the lamps and pilot lights.
Close all doors and windows.
Turn on thermostats to desired temperatures.
Wait 17 hours for the house to reach the desired temperature.
If you have a bed bug problem, Remove bedding from mattresses before you leave the house.
