I have a question;
When I post from busy.org ... it automatically "upvotes" myself... like it is already there when I check steemit.... and i don't know if that is normal, but I do not particularly like that feature. I checked steemvoter because i thought it may be a glitch there but I don't think that is it either. Anyone else autovote themselves? I kinda think its a bit prideful, and awkward.
I had my auto voter tick on when I started for a while before I even knew what it was or that votes had power. I turned if off now, I have no idea how to do that on busy.org. There is nothing wrong with upvoting your own posts too, sometimes its the only vote you get in the start. I will still upvote my stuff now with the hope it will it hot for a second lol..
Oooh, I was actually wondering this myself. I've heard so many conflicting things about this. So it's fine to upvote your own post, especially as a beginner?
I think so majority of what I read has the same guidance.
There is a setting, I noticed it when I first logged on, that changes that, in the dashboard somewhere. And no, upvoting yourself is smart. Why not recoup what you can? It's your SP generating that vote. You'll grow faster.

For those with very low SP, it's a bandwidth challenge that might be best avoided, and for those whales, upvoting yourself could be met with a downvote from a Bernie, etc. but for us in the middle, it makes solid sense. I hear there are those that won't vote for someone who's upvoting themselves, but what the hell? When most of the trending posts are heavily bot voted, all bets are off.
i can see a clear difference in your explanation. Thank you. I am working on getting my blog completed and then Ill be posting in the homework day 7 post. THis one was a bit glitchy for me.
