One day Gosú driven by his mischief managed to climb to the top of a tree but in a few moments was in trouble to get down from there, in that, a child called Miguel (humble and very respectful) passed and heard the meow of a cat, raises his gaze and realizes the danger that the animal was running between the branches. Miguel decides to go up to rescue Gosú, already at the top he manages to hold the cat and tries to go down carefully but he slips and falls to the ground, Gosú comes out unharmed because he fell on Miguel who received the whole blow so he fractures his arm.

Gosú in a strange way perceives that Miguel was injured because of his mischief, so he begins to purr and rub Miguel's body slowly and lick the wounds of his body, miraculously Miguel realizes that the pain passed and thanks the cat without knowing what it was called while it is on its way.

Continuando Gosú en su aventura callejera se encuentra a otro niño, Pedro se llama y era conocido en el pueblo por ser grosero y malvado. Peter without mediating words takes the cat, moors it and takes Gosú home, the impatient and anguished cat meows ceaselessly. Pedro keeps him tied up in his room and he comes up with a crazy idea, heating an iron to leave a mark on Gosú, at that moment, the cat gets angry and breaks the strings that tied him up, becomes an unstoppable beast when he is threatened and attacks Pedro's body.

Pedro crying leaves quickly in search of help, finds his father Pablo and tells him that the cat attacked him without having done anything, shows him the scratches he has left. Pedro's father calls and gathers all the representatives of the village to decide to sacrifice the cat for violent because according to Pablo the cat was possessed for being the animal of the old sorcerer, those present accept the considerations presented by Pedro's father and proceed to sacrifice that animal that only tried to defend itself from its attacker.

Before so much commotion and missed by the absence of his cat, the old man goes out to look for it and realizes the situation, a shout released that man, defying those who tried to hurt him, the silence was brought until it was interrupted by Pablo, who insisted on sacrificing the cat. They violently threw the old man out and continued to act on Gosú, at that precise moment Miguel comes out and asks the people why they were attacking the cat, - He is good, he said - he has saved my life, he continued. The old man appears again and explains to them that Gosú acts according to how he is treated, perhaps the boy Pedro wanted to hurt him so he replied in the same way. All those present listened to the lived version of Miguel (honest and well-behaved) and comparing it with the story of Pedro (Grosero and spoiled) they decide to leave the cat "Gosú" alone and free.

Since that day, Miguel, Gosú and the old man are great friends and take care of each other.
