He didn’t look like the kind of guy she would know though, it was those poor-guy-rich-girl clichés that everyone is probably used to already. But this was different; "I am your neighbour, I live in the next compound".

"Oh, ok. Its nice meeting you, bye."

And she left the barber shop without giving him a chance to properly introduce himself. He knew he’d see her again, this wasn’t the first time he’d seen her, her well cut low hair attracted her beauty to him, she had the dimples of a child but the face of an adult,

he liked her, really liked her, but now he felt like he’d ruin his chance of a second meet, maybe because “do you know me?” isn’t the best way to start a conversation with a girl that you’ve been watching for the past two months.

Anyways, it was time to cut the next customer’s hair, he just got this job, didn't want any distractions that led to an early reprimand.

He got home to a tired mother, and an active kitchen. He took dinner and went straight to bed, Grace was the last thing on his mind, her dimples went deep with the smile he saw in his mind's eye.

“I wonder if I know him, maybe I do, but he didn’t look like a stranger though….whatever” her thoughts accompanied her to the sitting room, she picked the toys off the floor, got to the kitchen to get the cake out of the oven, then to the backyard, the laughter of the two most important men in her life met her ears with a smile.

Kevin turned 2 years and one month today and had already developed an appetite for cake and other sweet things since his birthday celebration, guess he gets it from her, since she had to have the sweetest of men for a husband.

That’s what happens when you marry your sweet heart, you look 10 years younger and have boys crush on you, she would definitely laugh this one out with Steven, the conversation would probably go like “Baby, so I went to cut my hair and ran into this guy that was just staring and asking weird questions”. 💁
He’d probably be like, “you were not wearing your ring you fish” 🤣😂

She laughed out loud as she placed the cake on the garden bench.
