RE: The Theatre Of Dreams

in #writing7 years ago

I thought humans were supposed to be adventurous by nature.

This was critical to human survival in the early era. Where there is no mall or restaurant to have a quick meal, every meal have to be hunted in the hard way. To make the matter worse, there are no refrigerators to keep yesterday's meat, so humans were forced to live each day hard and tedious.

But things change as technological and civilization crept in, this also brought docility and phobia for adventurous living into human existence.

I call technology and civilization a mixed bag, brought comfort to human and took away their desire for adventurous living

Beautiful thoughts @fisteganos, refreshing as always.

It's really unbelievable that humans will grow to become averse to change. Some people tried out new stuff for us to have all the advancements we enjoy these days. I guess it's left to each individual to keep their fire for adventure burning.

Or could it be fear? 🤔

Yeah, you hit it right there fear, and to a large extent the shame that comes with failing.

All these variables come together to create a people largely averse to stepping out of the box created by the society.
