I prefer dogs, any dogs. Please don't have a cat. They are creatures from hell and despite the fact I do not know you, I don't want you to suffer. I've had 3 cats and because they need to be out, 1 was killed by car, the second just dissapeared and the last one was accidentaly killed by dog. What a bad luck. Dogs are friends.
If you are a sporty person go for the dog if not get a cat they are lazy too
