You mean like winnie the pooh? Just joking. It was the only other character that came to my mind when you mentioned being obsessed with honey.
that's actually exactly the route I was going with it :) I've compared the idea of inter-dimensional AI honey pots to this before :) Like if this ever got made into a movie, our main character would be watching winnie in the background all the time you know... as camera pans through a room, or whatever.... or if you had a scene where he was eating a microwave dinner on the recliner watching tv... etc...
