It's funny to read @dreemsteem's comment because I finished wondering if there is something taught in like a "writer's secret club" that say's "Use Food... that'll keep em hungry for more." :^)

I've heard it said that the sense of smell is most closely linked with memory, but I think taste must be right up there with it. It's those details that sort of just move the words from text to image. Thanks for another installment. Really enjoying this since I'm now all caught up.

Thanks, Eric - It's always a tough question deciding what gets left in and what gets left out in a story or novel - mind you, the novel has more scope for detail and moves at a more leisurely pace - but I'm alway mindful of Hardy's dictum - Exceptional events happening to exceptional people - that has to be counter-balanced with creating a sense of reality

It's interesting how strongly what you say parallels the work I must engage in to craft a sermon each week. What gets left in, what gets omitted.. are there enough details that others can find themselves in the movement and narrative... very similar it seems.
