Good titles bring more upvotes

Have you ever wondered why the article that you posted does not get many readers?

Is it really due to the lack of quality content or pictures for illustration?

This is nothing new but I have mentioned it briefing in some of my previous articles that I posted.

Before a reader decides to click to read any article, the first thing that they get to see is the title of the article. If the title of your article is just a general name, it will be skipped by most readers.

It will also disappear very quickly among many other posts within minutes. The most crucial period is within the first 30 minutes to have some readers and upvotes so that it will get the attention of other readers.

When deciding your title, you must think about what is the likely title that you will want to take a look as a reader.

You should also ensure that your content is able to live up to the expectation of the title. Don't give the readers empty hope. Your reputation will be affected if there is no substance in your article.

1. How to write quality article!
2. Quality article that brings more upvotes!

I believe you will probably choose option 2 to read rather than option 1. Most steemit members are interested to get more readers and upvotes so you would have stroke onto their hearts’ desire.

Example 2

1. Things that I do in steemit!
2. My success story in steemit!

In option 1, the readers may just skip since I am not your close friend so what you do in steemit is your personal business unless you are close to me, then I will take a look.

In option 2, you can see that the word ‘success’ makes you more interested to read as everyone wants to have success so I will like to know what makes you successful.

1. I got downvoted

2. Say goodbye to downvotes

In option 1, you are just sharing your experience in getting downvote so readers generally may not find it interesting.

In option 2, most readers would like to avoid being downvoted and this information is important so there may be more clicks to read your articles.

Most readers will read to end to satisfy certain objective or clarification based on your title.

With more readers for your article, I believe more upvotes will naturally come. You don’t even need to beg or ask for upvotes. Just ensure your content is great and comprehensive as well as convincing.
