Also Della Galton's books about writing (can't think of the titles at the moment). I have a whole box of books dedicated to just this subject.

King's Danse Macabre is another book he did on writing, and it has a line that is so completely hysterically funny, that it still has the power to make me laugh when I think about it, decades later.
