A huge problem with writing while getting paid is that if your incentive to getting paid is attention, the balance between relatable and quality work will be hedged in favor of relatable for money.
Yeah, definitely, but I think that it's really originality that attracts people - something they haven't seen before - not homogeneous "relatability."
