LIKE MAKER,LIKE VESSEL
While growing up there was an idea i heard about, and that idea was "we are but empty vessels waiting to be used by God"....okay lemme ask you something,do you believe that you are really an empty vessel?
What's the idea when we refer to ourselves or others as empty vessels? It is that we are like containers waiting to be used by the owner,we have no will,we are empty and need to be filled without which we have no purpose or have no use.
This thinking is wrong,why?
It is wrong because first of all you came or were created from something,God's image, the fact that were created out his image is enough to prove that you aren't not an empty vessel,you can only be empty if the image of God is an empty image,

Also when he created you he said...dominate, multiply,rule the earth.... the fact that he made that pronounciation means while creating you he put in the power and potential to rule and dominate the earth,because God never asks for what he didn't put in you, its just like the makers of the ferrari,it is only after making their car to have the capability of driving up to 190 miles per hour that they can now tell the customer,Sir or Ma, you can drive this car up to 190 miles per hour, because they created in that car the ability to do so. So when God says dominate,replenish....do this or that it is because he already gave you that ability.
You don't have to be filled,you are already filled, right now in you is All the potential to dominate in life.There are no empty people,there are only people who haven't discovered their potential.
You were never and can never be empty,because your source is not an empty one
you are like a power bank charged with all the potential to rule the earth, dominate its resources,make impact as a god, you have been given the sovereign power to rule on earth,choose to do so.
Your simplicity in writing is highly commendable.. Untill people come to understand that the saying "we are but empty vessels waiting to be used by God" is not meant for those who know their purpose in life. The goal oriented ones... Everyone has some potentials laced within the cords of his/her life. It's our daily duty to uncover these potentials and put them to concrete use. Only then can we say to ourselves that we are truly non-empty.
But the key point here is this that we are laced with potentials which means we are already not empty.
