This is the truth.
Knowing all of the technical aspects is incredibly valuable and useful, but really finding your own flow to express your own voice comes from perfecting it yourself.
I've also found a writing prompt challenge here on Steemit that not only pushes me outside my comfort zone, but also expects me to meet deadlines on a regular basis.
That definitely helps!
