Factors Which Enhance Efficient Reading.

Achievement of efficient and effective reading hinges on a number of factors most if which need to be met by the reader who desires efficient and effectiveness in reading. Some of these we factors are outlined as follows:

1. Good health and general physical comfort.
   When you're hale and hearty then you can be sure to read efficiently and effectively but for one who is ill, hungry/fatigued, feeling hot or having internal heat cannot read effectively. You would only be staring at the book without understanding the text. A reader who reads under this conditions is doing him/herself no good and should attend to these issues before undertaking a reading task.

2. Conducive surroundings.
   It is not new that one can barely read and gain anything when reading a a noisy environment. I just finished reading but before I finished, my neighbor next door was slamming music with his local dialect and it was distracting me. With all due respect, I knocked at his door and pleaded with him to reduce the volume of his music a little or shut his door so I and my roommates can study, though he was in his house and probably had all right to play his music as loud as he pleases but I'm grateful to God and thankful to him that he had to consider my request. I actually like reading while listening to cool music but then the volume has to be extremely low. When your serene is quiet, effective and efficient reading is sure.

3. Emotional tranquility.
   Persons who are emotionally unstable resulting from such painful events in their lives as death of a dear one, loss of property divorce or jilting, failure, poverty etc many not name efficient and effective readers in circumstances they find themselves. Such persons will have to contain such experience with courage if they wish to gain effective and efficient reading.

4. Familiarity with text.
   When a reader is familiar with the texts, reading tends to be more effective and efficient.

5. Continuous and wide range.
   Continuous and wide reading via reading drive surely enhances effective and efficient reading. This factor can be attained through reading drive. Wide reading should continue after school or the close of the semester.
