Rocky The Rocket - Friend. Kids story. Chapter 4

 

Harmony after reading the advertisement about the World Space Models Championship thought it would be fun. With a whistling she called Roky. Rocket immediately responded to the call. As always, a little snorting to get himself started with his motors, in a second he was at her side, surrounded by a cloud of vapor and dust from the workshop.

- Rocky, Rocky, I have found something fun for us to do. She grabbed him by the manipulators and started a joyful dance with him.

- Look, - reading the article aloud Harmony excitedly exclaimed, - we will win. We just need to not break the eggs!

Rocky C snorted again, thinking to himself “Who could compete with me”.

So, it was decided.

 Not thinking about telling anyone about their venture to fly to the Blue planet, Harmony just put a couple of things in a bag.  Then they entered the cab of her strange machine and she pressed “Start”.

This time she didn’t get dusted with soot but there was another problem.

Harmony forgot to pull the energy lever so the Travel Machine stopped on the way to the Blue Planet at the deserted planet, called Moon.

At first little queen was worried, but then found a user manual where Ike explained how everything works.

Harmony thought she would grab the opportunity and explore the moon craters with Rocky. Luckily there was a space suit of her size. Ike was very considerate.

Unfortunately, there was not much of  interest apart from every step lifted her higher any champion would ever jump.

So they soon decided to return to the initial route quite soon.

Rocky C and Harmony appeared on a huge field. Rocky after making a short test flight reported that the field occupies a hundred thousand square meters. It is divided into several sectors for the competition: launch area, guest area and exhibition area. According to Rocky’s sensors there were 354 people, 301 of whom has not reached the age of maternity, including Harmony. Only Rocky Do managed to inform these important facts to Harmony an electric mini-van approached and stern voice came out:

"Girl, there's no-fly zone, you're not in the right sector. Have you already registered for the event? ". Then he added in a softening tone: " I assume you walked from the village? Anyway get in, I’ll drive you to the registry area. I like your model. Interesting idea to make a face for the rocket. "

- Thank you,- Harmony said.

Of course, she knew the language of a man from Blue Earth. It was the language of her boyfriend whom she met last summer. Harmony had studied several major international languages of Blue Planet.

- No, I have not yet registered. Thank you, very kind of you to give us a lift.

In few minutes they reached a crowd of young people, buzzing with anticipation. There was last minute modification rocket design before the launch. The man dropped Harmony at the long table behind the registration committee.

- You need to register. Good luck with your cutie.

Harmony curtsied in gratitude. At her courteous manner he laughed and said "thank you."

She took Rocky, her smart friend, in her arms. Rocky C winked at her, then immediately froze back into smile on his "attractive face" before anyone noticed. 

Three adults sitting at the table were talking with each other. One of them, a blonde lady with kind eyes was distracted from their conversation, turned and smiled to Harmony.

 

“Good afternoon. Are you registered as a competitor? "

“Not yet”

“Do you want to? We have too many boys here, so girls are very welcome. Tell me, please, your city and country, please?

Harmony could not register from her own Green Planet and paniced. Fearing she would be discovered she said the first thing that came to mind: Paddington, England.
