The Spectrum

*There is a spectrum
That governs all humankind
That makes a human
The creature that it is

A spectrum that flows from the darkness of evil
To the light of the divine
From the joy and happiness of love
To the pain and sadness of all fears

Along its path, we travel
Back and forth—to and fro
Free to choose—free to decide
Which direction—our actions will go

Back and forth—to and fro
Free to choose—free to decide
But the consequences
Not ours—to know!*
