They only look the same,
but are nothing like each other;
They are polar opposites
like Yin and Yang
like Black and White
like Negative and Positive
like Wrong and Right.

They are of the same age
But one is a bad girl while
The other is a good woman
For one is loud and wild
While the other is quiet and tame

But which is which,
who is who?

One is a life of the party
While the other seems to live
in a different galaxy,
she is as distant as stars
and has long since disconnected
herself from the world.
one is a warmth in winter,
nice and caring
while the other is as cold
as ice that can burn like hell.
one has this smile,
a curve that seems
to set everything straight
while the other has buried
hers six feet under the ground
and when she tries to
lift her cheeks,
it just hurts.
one sees rainbows and unicorns
and feels everything
while the other only saw pain;
later on she lost the ability
to feel for she chose to
numb herself
so she could lose
the ability to cry
because
she is
dead tired.

One gives and takes comfort
while the other is
used to comforting herself
for she survives the cruel life that way.
One looks for hope in other people
while for the other,
hope is in the form of a pill
and apathy.
one has a normal life
that screams color,
in which she is as free as a dove
while the other is different,
she is trapped in a black
and white world
she views as a cell.
One brings the sunshine
while the other brings the rain
for she only knows pain;
it knows her by name
and it's her only friend for
as long as she can remember.

One's head is a bow of hues
while the other's is
full of diabolical plots.
one grows dandelions in her closet
while the other has skeletons.
One wants to save people
while the other just watches them fall to their despair.
yet,

Despite all these differences,
they are brought together by a common denominator --
They both forget in order to

...survive.

and

despite all these
differences,
they are
two minds,
two people,
two personalities
in same
body

But they don't agree for they can't see

except
Everybody that one is the other
and she is she,

that the only way for one to live is for the other
to exist,
and that the only way for the other to exist
is for "one" to survive.

so,
to survive from the pain that is too much for her mind,she breaks away from herself and creates
another
"she" withinher.
