I'm not particularly "talented" nor "lucky" when it comes to anything I have undertaken, but I have built a measure of success simply on learning to do things really well-- often through sheer determination-- and then "still being there" when other people decided to pack it in.

Sometimes I feel like I am able to make up for what I lack in inspiration and genius simply by being patient.
