There are events that happen to us, at least in the common (dualistic) way of experiencing reality. These occurrences become the fodder for further experiences, in a cyclical manner. What is, is without color or meaning, until assigned this tint depending on one's perspective. Art is the manner in which we process the myriad sensations of our day-to-day, and amplify, reduce, transform, transmute, transmogrify, or generally in some way alter these in a process of our choosing.

For the past two and a half months Steemit has gradually become my Abstract Journal, the place where I channel the occurrences of life through a funnel, or a prism, or whatever aetherical gadget I can get my hands on. The approach of abstraction (instead of mundanely repeating the supposed happenings of life) has many benefits to the abstracter, as well as the observers of the abstraction.

Abstraction instantly breaks closed loops which are reinforcing deleterious habits and destructive thought patterns. It opens one to the greater vistas of Reality in which possibilities loom more massive than alleged actualites (which are found to be quite illusory after all, and really something else entirely!) It destroys absurd, whiny, and minimizing perspectives by its expansive influence. It mitigates the limitation of belief systems due to its willingness to entertain potentialities either not before considered, or discarded due to their seeming false, threatening (to the ego) or foreign nature.

My heart is siphoned into my poems, my ruminations, my fictions, my motivations; my brain is taxed to keep pace with the spirit which urges ever onward the haggard and unwilling flesh-vessel. My nexoid core reminds the intellect to be kind to this human, this beast, which toils under torment of gravity. Spirit ever whispers the lightness of heartsprung aviation, the pulsating generator that evades definition.

I pour gratitude out to the All for allowing such magnificence to exist, the gift of Life which encompasses so much yet honors the smallest smidge. This (what?) in which cosmic calculation is endlessly ordered in total perfection yet seeming chaos to a being crouching in distortions of perception (Yes, we.) Nevertheless, life is lovely, and I thank you all (who are me) just as the grass, trees, fish, and bees thank each other by being what they are without compromise or extraneous guilt. May all beings gradually re-convene to that wholeness and truth which constitutes the essence of reality (in ways unimaginably simple yet intricate.) Namaste.
