I respect not tolerance. Explanatory comment.

Hello! In this opportunity I they bring my explanatory comment of the text: "I Respect, not tolerance" for the author Héctor Torres of September 11, 2012.

The author of text recommends to us to avoid the risk of distorting the sense of the words that we use and that we can fall in it of unconscious form. If the things around me change name my world of things it will change: inclusive my values. For example the tolerance is a word that is seen like virtuous, the author says to us. But rather, if we put to think, to tolerate something it gives reason of which this I cannot stand anything, for what the virtue, which sells for a better conviviality, proves in objected: In an exercise of resistance, and the resistance is a model re to survive, that also is a model of adjustment. Yes, but in the bottom, this does not carry to the rooting of a value, but to the perpetuation of an inconvenient situation of conviviality. And in this the author refers when it speaks us about the ambiguity of allowing certain practices.

Towers it centres on showing two uses or meanings of the word tolerance; one positive and pejorative other one, applied both in the human relations. The positive sense of the word tolerance can be understood as respect. And the respect a person consists of valuing. If whenever we think about the word tolerance we change it into respect, with the sense of the words they change -as already I said previously- our values, and with them, our ideas and feelings evolve towards the real conviviality, with her; the commitment and the reciprocity. This gives place to which, as the author says, the words express what we want and not his opposite.

Respeto no tolerancia. Comentario explicativo.

¡Hola! En esta oportunidad les traigo mi comentario explicativo del texto: “Respeto, no tolerancia” por el autor Héctor Torres del 11 de septiembre del 2012.

El autor de texto nos recomienda evitar el riesgo de tergiversar el sentido de las palabras que usamos y que podemos caer en ello de forma inconsciente. Si las cosas a mi alrededor cambian de nombre mi mundo de cosas cambiará: inclusiva mis valores. Por ejemplo la tolerancia es una palabra que es vista como virtuosa, nos dice el autor. Pero más bien, si nos ponemos a pensar, el tolerar algo da razón de que ese algo me molesta, por lo que la virtud, que se vende para una mejor convivencia, resulta en opuesto: en un ejercicio de resistencia, y la resistencia es un modelo re sobrevivir, que también es un modelo de adaptación. Sí, pero en el fondo, esto no conlleva al arraigo de un valor, sino a la perpetuación de una situación incómoda de convivencia. Y en esto se refiere el autor cuando nos habla de la ambigüedad de permitir determinadas prácticas.

Torres se centra en mostrar dos usos o acepciones de la palabra tolerancia; uno positivo y otro peyorativo, aplicados ambos en las relaciones humanas. El sentido positivo de la palabra tolerancia puede ser entendido como respeto. Y el respeto consiste en valorar una persona. Si cada vez que pensamos en la palabra tolerancia la cambiamos por respeto, con el sentido de las palabras cambian –como ya dije anteriormente- nuestros valores, y con ellos, nuestras ideas y sentimientos evolucionan hacia la verdadera convivencia, con ella; el compromiso y la reciprocidad. Esto da lugar a que, como dice el autor, las palabras expresen lo que queremos y no su contrario.
