It was quite the slog getting here, not a whole lot of sleep but wouldn't change this experience for love of money or the love of my gardens...which both have suffered for my trying. No regrets. This is a picture of one of my favorite places to go and meditate my path ahead. If you close your eyes you can picture me there...in the small clearing under the tree by the falling waters. The sounds and the quietude are a balm to my soul.

I have met a lot of good people from all of the world, some crazy characters and some seriously talented and accomplished individuals. If you haven't surfed your feed yet and feel that pushing quality content is just not working...I strongly suggest you take a break...get your head up and go meet 'n greet through the feed.
Just grab anything that catches your interest...something new, something old, something blue and catch the wave...jump waves onto other's feeds...but the main thing is to comment, upvote what you really like...encourage others and engage. You'll find you'll go back to making content with a different perspective and refreshed creativity.
This I promise you. You won't regret the time spent, and you'll make some real friends along the way...not just followers...not that there's anything wrong with followers. ~smiles fer miles~
Show me your peace flag Steemians ...or not. It doesn't have to be you. It could be a representation of what signifies inner peace to you. You know that I use a signature line a lot. ~may all hatred cease...let there be peace~ ...well that's the inner prayer...my mantra. I've had it for years and when things get rough I go to it.
These words have helped me let go of impossible dreams yet allowed me to still dream them. They have allowed me to learn tolerance...patience and gratitude. The words alone have saved my life through serious traumas and life changing surgeries. They've been my companion when alone and my wellspring of joy when I am with friends.
Try them...they are words...but they are powerful words if you allow them to resonate within...then they will express themselves through your outward projection of that inner peace...and they are open source. A gift for all who would use them, improve upon them...build on them.

That is, indeed, a great meditation spot.
This place-- Steemit-- is kind of like a unique social experiment; imagine people sharing their stories at this level on the Book of Farce. No, I couldn't, either. Imagine this level of authentic engagement on the Press of Word. Yeah, same story.
Right there (at least for me) the primary reasons why this place is worth it.
B of F is to the theatre of the absurd as to WP is to the vacuousness of space ( I felt my very soul would be lost there and quickly left)
Steemit, as I am still in lust mode, feels much more like the invitation to a great feast of the senses. A groaning board of delectable delights...and things one must screw up the courage to just try a taste...just a little at first.

It has it's days of hustle and bustle @aboutyourbiz ...Beacon Hill Park is a favorite of locals and tourists alike. It's a large park and this spot is off the manicured and well trodden paths that wind all through. Not so far off that you won't hear, above the gentle sound of the water and breezes, the sounds of children, oohs and ahhhs of photographers, the occassional familiar sound of a horse drawn carriage clop-clop clopping along the paved road that flows gently through the heart and lungs of the park.
Above it all is the plaintive cries of the many free range peacocks. Sometimes just a little too close...but I don't begrudge them their way. They have as much a right to this space than I. Perhaps more so as I am but an occasional visitor and this is their appointed home. If you've never heard the sound I've found an interesting little mixer mash from one named [DJ SNAKE](
)I hear peacocks were I live but don't ever see them. Used to see them sometimes when I lived in Cali though. Beautiful birds.
That they are...if not the most beautiful of all they most certainly are in the top three! I can't even think of the two...well there is the bird of paradise (the name alone suggest so) and of course there is the parrot...I'm more partial to the red-winged black bird myself...reminds me of home for some reason.
Then of course there's the chicken lol
I think I never saw a chicken as lovely as one with no feathers and it's innards stuffed where the sun won't shi...spoil them. :D

Oh.... that first picture.... I could sit there all day and bask in the beauty as the sound of running water creates soothing music to my ears.
