I agree with some of your major ideas here; reading takes much time, and so we need to manage that well. Quality hidden gems are why we do curation; when we find good work, we pass it on.

I won't comment on the many technical issues, as others have pointed them out; other than to mention that they are still there, and you have up to one month to go back and edit.

This is a big one, and I couldn't agree more. If we only read things we immediately agree with, we'll never learn. It pays to dig in and understand the author's original thought.
