Have you complained about not having opportunities to show your potential?
Are you to blame for this?
How many times have we stopped doing something because we think that in front of a big project, your part will be the smallest and so it will be irrelevant?
To think that your participation is not important can develop two false certainties in your mind:
One is that you got the smaller part because you were not skilled enough for the larger part of the project. Another is you believe that you are good enough to do something so small and so you think it's more than right to be quiet and expect something bigger.
If this has already happened to you, have you realized that thinking in this way can delay your personal and professional growth? Have you ever imagined the number of losses for not having tried? The opportunities to show what we can do goes through us several times, every day! But, our craze to choose so many ends up being a kind of self-sabotage ...
Do we always have to look for the best? Of course! But is not the best "wrapped in a very simple gift paper," but with wonderful surprises?
Look at opportunities as a way to find out how far you can go, how much better you can do and how many "guns" you have. I have already said in another post (that is in Portuguese), that we only discover our weapons when the situation impels us. But if you do not get into the situation, how will you know the best you could have done?
Do not delay in giving your best, even if it seems a small opportunity. Or, your turn will pass and someone, eager to have an opportunity, will pass in front of you and win prizes that could be yours.
