Six Heart Virtues
These are things I have been trying to implement into my everyday life to better myself. Inspiration and the motivation have come from someone very dear.
Appreciation: Appreciation is shown through our small gestures of gratitude. They help to support relationship loyalty and bonding in oneness with everyone. These acts can reflect the genuineness of the person through their frequencies of souls. The simple act of a small thank you can make a person's day.

Compassion: Through compassion we form stronger relations in love and peace with each other. It can help us understand another person's suffering and our natural desire to want to make that pain go away. As beings of love, we all want to make life better for those important to us and it can be a huge driving force in one's life just to see that special person smile. Through compassion, we learn the pain of others and how we can help. A wonderful expression of love.

Forgiveness: Using forgiveness we can come to see from another's perspective. As a member of the ICoLR, we all try to implement this into our lives. Usually, when someone acts in an ill manner or a way we don't agree with, we can sometimes be filled with emotions of victimization which will usually lead to an unhealthy reaction. Taking a step back with a moment to breath will help us see through understanding and compassion, that those kind of reactions are unhealthy and not the correct way to love.
Forgiveness is really the outward expression of understanding and compassion without the heavy sentiments of duality (good and bad) that typically introduce the presence of judgment.

Humility: Humility is the realization that the heart, mind, and soul co-mingle in the grace of a Higher Intelligence and that their very existence is upheld through this connection of unconditional love. Through humility we achieve humbleness and it is with this that we can come to accept that we are all one in the universe. No one person is better than the other. We are all connected in equality with the universe. It is a step to loving everyone equally, and respect for them.

Understanding: Through understanding we can stop the mindless actions of division that have been programmed into us. A person's actions are not responsible for our own. Just because so and so did something you don't agree with doesn't merit a response to anger. We react too much in intense situations and it only leads to separation and division. We should be taking the time to understand why a person acted in a certain way or did a certain thing. Not judging them because they did something we personally don't agree with. Everyone is in control of their own actions.

Valor: When one hears valor they usually connect this with someone on the battlefield or within war. However, it is also within an element of love to be used to speak the truth to power. When an injustice occurs in someone's life due to another. For example; while I worked in retail I had witnessed a mother bullying her child in the store, pushing them down, calling them names; she was clearly intoxicated. No one else was really doing anything and I had to intervene just simply telling her to stop firmly and it did in fact work. (This may not always be the situation) There was no real judgment associated with it; it was simply an injustice that required intervention in the moment. Compassion for both the child and the mother were present and I believe the mother knew this. This is an act of valor.

Through these virtues, we can better ourselves, and they work in tangent with our own vows and things EVERYONE should practice in their day to day life. I hope these can help people find their place and work towards love with all life in unity.

I claim to be a simple individual liable to err like any other fellow mortal. I own, however, that I have humility enough to confess my errors and to retrace my steps.
- Mahatma Gandhi
It seems valor and integrity have much in common.
We all have areas that need improving
All important qualities to have in everyone.
Imagine the world where all these exist in everybody... Paradise!
These are wonderful qualities everyone should aim to grow in in their own lives. If each person in the world attempted to act on these and refine these, it would begin to help unite humanity. It starts with one, so nice job on using these to grow and better yourself!
Very clever. =)
