Ohhhh, Joe, I had no idea - you've been living with a new kidney for 410+ days by now, after a 3-year wait for a transplant. Go Joe! I was a bone marrow donor for my sister in 1994 (leukemia) and might be a kidney donor if her body can handle it. She's in dire shape at 59. Dialysis. More organ donors would be great - I'm amazed at how many people are squeamish about it! (Donating blood, too: how hard is that?) I wish you well, Joe! Thanks for writing about this.
