- When imposing fascist laws in Italy, Milan was forced to wear a white shirt with two vertical stripes, one black and one red. In 1942 the club changed the shirt by establishing five vertical stripes red and black
- The origin of Milan's red and black colors go back to its foundation, when they were selected by Herbert Kilpin to represent the ardent fervor that is part of the team members and to infuse fear into rivals.
