Pada hari ini tepatnya 3 September 2018 merupakan hari pendidikan daerah sekitar indonesia yang diadakan pada setiap 3 September setiap tahunnya.pada peringatan kali ini, di kabupaten Aceh Utara, secara diadakan di lapangan upacara kota Lhoksukon.

Para guru yang berstatus sebagai pegawai negeri sipil diwajibkan hadir dalam peringatan kali ini.dan kebanyakan dari mereka adalah perempuan.karena di Aceh Utara, rata-rata yang menjadi guru banyak dari kalangan perempuan.

Acara tersebut dipimpin oleh bupati Aceh Utara dan diikuti oleh seluruh jajaran dinas pendidikan dan para guru pegawai negeri yang ada di setiap sekolah negeri dan swasta.
