Artdentity

I am a Carpenter
With my simile and metaphoric nails
I hammer words into my reader’s minds
I could remove ideas from them at will
I could tell ‘em a lie and then later say it’s irony

Though Agriculture has never really been my thing
Father always took me to the farm
Where I learnt to plant ideas on the human mind
Nurture them with my fertilizer of speech
And harvest my fruits in their actions

Whilst growing up
Mother taught me tailoring
She dashed me the scissors of alliteration
So I can cut and sew words into rhymes
And also tailor my thoughts to rhythms

Lest I forget
I come from a lineage of painters
Grandpa bequeathed me a canvas of adjectives
He also gave me a paradoxical brush
With it I can paint bad and it will look good

Society was never fair to me
Naturally I’ve grown up to be a warrior
There is this lethal Penknife of mine
It also contains a toxic venomous ink
Plus I also wield a shield though it’s made of paper

Oh about my hobby
This must be kept between you and I
I really love drinking
Drank Oxymoron lager beer till I had a drunken fist
