Rose, a horror story - Synopsis
During her childhood, Rosemary Shivers, through an act of extreme brutality committed by her Father, discovers a place beyond death know as 'The Void.' The Void is an infinite, empty place of darkness that imprisons the corrupt psyches of the damned. The inherent wickedness bound within Rose's nature and revealed by her deeds over the course of her life, ensure that her consciousness would be destined for damnation, passing into The Void at the moment of her death. With the help of her minion, Dr Richards, she devises a plan that will enable her to escape her fate and return to the living realm. A feat never before accomplished throughout all the ages.
In her arrogance and fiendish reckoning, Rose fails to consider the potentially catastrophic price for such an abhorrent perversion of the laws governing life and death.
After Rose's death, Dr Richards discovers a suitable victim in Violet Edwards. A blind old woman who has suffered the tragic and traumatic loss of her husband, then fallen ill. He gains access to Violet and manages to induce her consciousness to enter The Void. Rose's malignant psyche lies in wait and when she appears, embeds herself like a mental tick into Violet's consciousness, returning with her to the living world.
Rose immediately begins a campaign of psychological warfare upon Violet and her family as she attempts to break them down, fully returning herself and her minions to life.
