Curious Angel #3

Within the void of light the angel looks at the cloud of darkness. Watching as they wait for her. She knows she’s not suppose to interfere with the darkness during hours of night. But she feels conflicted. The image of the girl being consumed by darkness overwhelms the angels mind. This creature that’s meant to be obedient is feeling conflicted, how can this be.
The angel’s wings fill with color as prisms of light shines through them. The skies are filled color like the auras of all that is good just been put in one place. The angel is filled with such glory and strength. She can’t contain herself any longer. She swoops down with such fury right in the middle of the creatures. The ground shakes as the creatures cloud is broken apart. Glowing yellow eyes surrounds her. Tar like fluids ooze of the creatures mouths with long green and black tongues hanging as if the creatures plan on consuming angel like a midnight snack. But there’s no sign of fear coming from the angel. She just stands there waiting. The creatures get impatient and go for a strike all at once. The angel extends her arms along with her now extremely bright colored wings. A prism of light shines in all directions. The creatures in front burns down to discolored liquid. The ones in back stop in their tracks. They quickly fade into the ground as night slowly becomes day.
The angel stands there for a moment watching the golden sun come up shining away the darknesss.
