You want Knowledge?

It is a blessing that comes with a curse. It is a gift that comes with heavy responsibility. It tasks reservation and enjoins the learned to assume the burden of the brilliant stupidity of others.

While people rave, the learned will be calm, erring always on the side of caution, viewing issues from multiple spectra and subjecting vaunted realities to the benefit of doubt.

Knowledge is not sure. It does not impose itself. No. That is stupidity. Knowledge seeks to draw people to the realisation of the truth and then would not mind to leave them with their lies.

Knowledge does not trade insults. It understands that insults closes conversations and deprives one of the opportunity to learn when one is wrong and to teach when one is right.

Knowledge does not generalise for it understands the import of uniqueness towards the building of bridges and fostering understanding between people. Knowledge does not mean grandiloquence or access to fine vocabularies. It is actually different from exposure especially since one can be exposed to stupidity.

Though gold and rubies may be abundant but lips that speak knowledge are a rare jewel.
