RE: Personal experience: Anxiety, panic attacks, problem solving and the likes...
I could not agree with you more. It all starts in our own heads. I love your simple -problem solving plan.
So many of our emotions are not our own. But, sometimes is not easy to identify them. Actually, it hardest thing to do. It hard to stay calm, and think rationally in the state of panic. This is why I love meditation. I clear my mind of thoughts which are not mine and identify the ones which are not mine so I can let them go. I recommend it to anyone.
Thank you for sharing your experience with us. It is amazing to read a text where someone is literally putting themselves on the paper. Wonderful words shared. Enjoyed reading and all your advice.
Have a great blissful day. :)
thank you, i have problem meditating, my mind just clogs up and everything seems to be blocking me. I usually end up frustrated when i sit to meditate. i find doodling calming at times, helps me stay quiet for a while, so i do that. it amazes me how people could meditate for hours. I always look for guides for meditation, none successful so far haha
The same thing was happening to me. So many thoughts running through my head. It was hard to concentrate. But the more I practiced it, the more my mind was calming down. I am not sure if you had a teacher to guide you through the process of meditation, and he helped me a lot. Now I meditate daily when I am upset or not because it calms my mind down. My meditation is a form of breathing and affirmation.
It is hard to do it on your own. You are really just shooting in the dark. It is why you are probably having a hard time getting results from it. Maybe you should try to find a teacher at least for the beginning until you learn the basics? :)
