It was a dark stormy night
@artjohn crept slowly up the stairs and turned the knob on the door. The door creaked ever so slightly as he held his breath in not to be heard. Outside was the noise of the pattering rain on the barn. Inside was the heavy breathing sound...
...of his dad sleeping in bed. @artjohn thought, "If only I can reach his smart phone without being caught. Then the lightning flashed and @artjohn was in trouble.
"What are you doing here in my room? Don't you even dare touch my cellphone John." How did he know it? With my dad's super-sensitive teacher instincts I can't get away with anything. Anyway my dad let's me post here once a day and that he is cool. He helps me out and gives me tips about how to write a post. It will take me some years to get used to this. Maybe when I am in high school. Anyway I will post away it I become old man steemit.
My dad also pays for my art lessons which are pretty cool. My dad says it is not a waste of money because I can express myself. Anyway he wants to paint to now so I am the one giving him lessons. Haha!!
My painting of the dark and stormy night is here. All good stories start out like this, "It was a dark and stormy night. Maybe I should continue the story on my next post.
Sure, I would like to hear the rest of the story!
(It sounds like my brother... he took my mom's phone)
Hahahaha sneaky little brothers. I have a phone but I can't play games on it.
