Death by cow farts?

Ego/humanity knew it was beautiful, yet it was also vain and wanted to control everything and destroy any opposition and be the best!
Wars raged throughout the ages and geopolitics proliferated and...
Massive cities sprung up, technologies increased, arts flourished and stories of amazing things were expressed.
It created rocket ships to outerspace and an internet that could send information long distances quickly for people to share selfies of their face.
And then.. Ego/humanity died and went extinct? Due to too many cow farts and an obsession with eating meat?

And it had like.. A lot of time to act and change but still didn't...?
Hmm...
All that crazy, sometimes amazing and fascinating stuff throughout history and then... Extinction by cow farts eh?
That's kinda funny. Sad too of course, but.. I dunno. There's just something kind of weird and funny about the idea of a species basically becoming so sophisticated and technological and then extincting itself due to cow farts cause it couldn't stop let alone even reduce very much raising them and enslaving and killing them to eat.

(PS I'd just like to say I can't prove that science in regards to cow farts and the danger such poses, maybe it's a conspiracy to scare people or just inaccurate for another reason but a lot of scientists do believe that is what is happening and I'm open minded to it.)
