I'm not a native English speaker but I often use spoken word poetry to remember words.

This one was inspired by a person who showed the highest form of compassion and willingness to help other people.

A Fire Upon the Deep

As I unfold it to you, imagine this scene
Like it has always been

There’s a fire upon the deep
So small, fragile and hard to keep

Balancing between the light and dark
Sequence of experiences and mental states
Given with the only one ark

Entire universe is growing apart
But we’re not
We are humans, and it means a simple thing

We can rebel and fling
Against the nature of this swing

But don’t be fooled by human nature
It’s not always bright and shiny
It has its portion of madness
Which sometimes conduct to badness
And it easily become extremely spiny

But there are people in this world
Who said: “Enough. I would love to evolve.”
And they do, and they act
Which leads them to the point
Where everything is perfectly joint

What was that?
Ah, yes, of course, I can recall
It’s called a dream and execution
Just two words, nothing special on the first sight
Come closer, and you can see
The leading singers in the opera of solution

Where this leads us?
I don’t know, I just pick my phone and go far to the network
Searching for people doing the impossible
Being not just champions
But acting like ones
Going berserk when they see that something is possible

Hope is like a tree
It has its branches and leaves
Flourishing when people acting boldly
Bringing down systematic errors and believes

And this tree has spread across the world
Standing between the fire of the soul upon the darkness
And vastness of space beneath it

Quickly, in small steps and gradually
People's lives become cheerful, happy and worth
Thanks to those heroes of planet Earth
