The Moon of the beginning of revival

   

 We didn’t live in countryside all our life. It passed only several years since we have leaved our apartments in Kiev and moved into the house in countryside. There were several reasons for this. One of them was that we've decided to organize our animal shelter. Since we live in countryside we started to pay more attention on the natural flow of life. Now we try to catch nature's laws and live in accordance with them.

 It is no doubt that the Moon influences our lives. Especially we feel it in the sphere of our health. But it's periods of new-moon also symbolize different periods in the life of the nature. The growing and decreasing Moon has different influences and is perceived in different ways by nature. This is well known to those of you who are fond of growing plants. We take into account that actions aimed at bringing something into our lives are best done during the growing Moon, while actions aimed at getting rid of something will be more effective in the period of the decreasing Moon.

 In legends, fairy tales, signs, the focus is on the full moon. But the full moon is already the middle of the individual periods of the lunar cycles. That's why we will talk about the new moon cycle.

 I must say that this year the cycle of new moon is getting a bit stray, so the Moon of the beginning of rebirth comes to us for almost two weeks earlier than usual. If last year we talked about the fact that the main difference of this period is the beginning of the melting of snow, this year many of us will wait for the beginning of the melting of snow for at least another two weeks.

 Another important distinguishing feature of this period is that, firstly, its beginning coincides with the Chinese New Year (the last point when we have a good opportunity to revise our plans for a year) and, secondly, that day they close in this way called the gate of eclipses. 

So, the period of the Moon of the beginning of rebirth starts this year on the 16th of February. As I said, the main sign of this period is the beginning of the melting of the snows. This, above all, the end of winter, which symbolizes a temporary death. It is no accident, for example, the northern side is considered the side of the dead.

 The nature of snow is that it covers many different things so we don't see them and don't think about them. But when the snow melts it strips everything that was hidden underneath. We can say the same about any sphere of our life. This is the period of purification. It is no coincidence that it coincides partly with the time of Lent.

 Return to your plans, inspect your life and think which things you still need in you live and which of them are already unwanted. It is the best time for cleaning of the all spheres of the life. Clean you house! Wash all unnecessary now winter clothes and pack them until the next winter. Change curtains for more light and bright. Throw out all trash.
 It is a good period to clean our body also. It is a grate period to say "good-buy" to overweight. Let your food be more light and simple. Try to eat more plants. Bad habits are also unwanted. Be polite to yourself and let them leave you live. Say them: "Good-bye. I don't expect you back"!  

 It is also a good period for cleaning the interpersonal relations. Try to forgive old offences, let your negative experiences to go away.  

 The melting snow also feeds the ground with water and creates good conditions for plants to grow up. So this period is very conductive for creation of a base for our future projects: not active steps but some preparations. It is good to draw a schedule; to think about people, who can help you etc. Maybe new knowledge is necessary for successful realization of your plans? You may read necessary books or visit special seminars or lecturers. May be you want to change your image? Think about what you need to do for that.  

  It is also necessary to remember that it is still winter and March is only the first spring month. So you need to be attentive to your health! Don't be cold! Think well about your clothes when you go out - the weather may be changeable!
