Did the alchemists really turn lead into gold? Trying to figure it out :)

Often the word "alchemy" gives us an indulgent smile. Indeed, one crazy idea of converting one metal into another is worth it. It's all nonsense. Although ... it all depends on reading. It is believed that the treatises written on this subject should be considered allegorically. Here is one example of such a reading, which seems to me quite logical.

 So, according to one of the versions, the seven planets of the solar system should be regarded as analogues of the seven metals. For example, Venus -  copper, Mercury - mercury, Mars - iron, Jupiter - tin, Saturn - lead, Sun - gold, Moon - silver. So, we are talking about the transformation of lead into gold, that is, Saturn in the Sun. In general, while also getting nonsense. 

OK, we look further. If we are even a little interested in astrology, we know that Saturn is a planet of karma. With the energies of Saturn, the themes of working out karma, destiny, inner transformation are connected. It should be noted that this is quite a complex and heavy energy. Saturn "comes" into our lives only twice (the so-called "Saturn cycle" - 29.5 years) and sports in full, checking how much we follow our destiny, it mercilessly takes everything that is superfluous from our life, forcing us to pass through a global transformation. Sometimes during this period it seems to us that our life is collapsing. Although, if we followed our destination, then this period can be very favorable.

On the other hand, the energy of the Sun means our personality and how we manifest in the outer world. By the way, I note that we cycle the Sun every 11 years, but this is a more light version than Saturn, and it can pass in general unnoticed.

So, we summarize. What does it mean to turn lead into gold or Saturn into the Sun. Literally, this means that our personality, having passed through the refinement of karmic tasks and having completed the inner spiritual transformation, must come to its true manifestation. Sounds not so unthinkable as it seemed from the beginning, right?
