Yesterday we talked about trust. It would seem that such a simple and understandable concept. But when I asked to explain what trust is, it was not easy. But in fact very many relations are based on trust. In particular, this applies to relations between spouses or friends. I'm not saying that this is always the case, but this is in most cases.

You can go the other way and remember that the opposite of trust is control. When we do not trust, we begin to control.
Thus, the absence of control means that we are ready to accept any consequences connected with our communication with this person. Such readiness is trust.

There is one more important point. It is about acception of consequences, but not about fatalism. How do I understand the difference? I think that acceptance is when we are ready to accept the consequences, but we have done our best to achieve the result we need. Fatalism is when we wait for consequences without taking any effort to change the situation.

So, trust is not based on blind faith, but on our objective assessment of a person and the willingness to accept the consequences of his actions in a situation of lack of control.
