Life gets in the way .......

........ these are the only words that seem to give any reasonable explanation when coming face to face with good friends. It is like where the heck id the time go? Our intentions are good but the days and weeks go by and no chin wagging over coffee or wine occurs.

Trying to think of everything that happens day to day usually eludes us when accidentally bumping into a friend. The easiest thing to say is - 'life gets in the way.' Interestingly they say the same!

Life is like a roller coaster, up and down twists and turns filled with work and home routines, fires, cyclones and exciting busy adventures, not always leaving enough space or energy for little chats, writing and quiet time-out.

Yes, sadly one cannot always do what one loves and want to do, those fun enjoyable parts to do with entertaining and writing posts on Steemit. Yes, my daily writing of posts has not taken place the last couple of days, too much to do with family and travel arrangements to Antartica.

As we went hurtling down the highway to Brisbane yesterday at 6am for a day of looking after two very active little ones I could only think how much 'life gets in the way.

But, I am on my own with this one am I?
