Crypto What?

My husband first told me about Crypto Currency back in 2013 when we didn’t have a lot of money to be investing. The way he talked about it, was like a kid at Christmas. I didn’t see it at the time but I thought sure it’s not a lot of money why not. We went through some really hard times and ended up selling our original investment in Bitcoin but it helped out in ways I never thought it could have. Things got better and he wanted to find more ways into different Crypto Currencies.

A friend of his said check out Steemit. Even he wasn’t sure what he thought about it. Then he started to write and make a bit of money. I watched but it looked complicated, as this was back in 2016. Plus I was pregnant with our second child and couldn’t think straight. (Some people call it mommy brain, but pregnancy can put you in a fog.)

Now don’t get me wrong I have been writing for years: book reviews, short stories, books, and many other things on writing. I have spoken at conventions about writing. When we lived in New York City I even was lucky enough to go to the Book Expo America. All that and I felt that Steemit wasn’t for me.

Finally, my husband said to create an account and just write. You're doing it anyway why not get paid. So I did just that. I started off a little slow and am now creating something for a post each day, sometimes more. I really feel like I am contributing something that others actually like. This only makes me want to write more. See what else I can post that might interest others into wanting to read.

The other night I read an article about Social Wallet. This time it was me telling my husband about something. I was able to use some of my own Steem Based Dollars to buy in during their sale. Which was so easy to do, by the way. For the first time, I really felt like I understood my husband's enthusiasm. Crypto Currency is going to change how we do everything.

I actually watched the re-branding of Lisk to understand where they are headed. The one takes away was how they are going to teach about Block Cains in their Academy. I’m looking forward to learning so much more.

I may have been slow into getting here but I’m so glad. The community here is amazing. My writing voice is becoming stronger and I’m eager to share with you all. Looking forward to my journey with you all moving forward.

Now you’re in it and it’s like wow there is so much more to this than I thought.

I now the feeling this whole space is just extremely exciting. I have recently joined, but creating content is just great and I am just enjoying the learning experience and cant wait to learn more. Happy Steeming.

It is exciting times to be at the ground floor to a lot of these new ICO.

a good start :))
Nice to meet you !

Thanks so much.

Getting into crypto is like Alice in Wonderland falling down the rabbit hole! The further you fall, the weirder and more interesting it becomes.

Its gonna be quite a ride over the next few years, but the potential crypto has for disrupting economics, technology and even social interactions are pretty immense!

Completly agree. It reminds me of the beginning of the internet.

Awesome post! What you are doing is exactly what our vision is.

Your product is amazing and both my husband and I have accounts.
