Dont measure your progress with another person's ruler

So I was randomly thinking today about life and why some people end up not achieving their goals and end up breaking down in depression,I was still thinking about this when i dived into my whatsapp and i saw this beautiful topic by a friend of mine and so i have decided to talk about it here.

To my own understanding,I believe what the clause is trying to explain is self dependence,determination and focus.I know a lot of life coaches encourage people to learn from the success of other people and use that to acheive their own success.

This is very true and could be helpful but might turn out to be harmful to us if not done with caution,a lot of people keep on emulating other successful people up to a point that they get to forget about themselves in particular and at the end of the day they eventually feel they are not progressing simply because they are not performing as well as their idol.

Besides we never know what lenghts a successful person passed through to get to where he is,how?,where?,when? and who he used to get successful are questions left unanswered so definitely dont get dissapointed in yourself for a second by thinking someone else is better than you.

Instead,sit down and figure out yourself and know your own strengths and weaknesses and discover how we can utilise them to acheive our own success!.
