RE: An Intimate Flashback: The Broken Heart Behind Confessions Of That Time I Accidentally Ended Up Working for a Drug Runner! 💔💭
Breakups are always hard, especially the first.
It's like you wake up, you feel tired, but fine. Then your brain registers, "Oh wait dude, you've broken up."
INSTANTLY you know it was going to be a horrible day.
I worked as a door host at a popular club here before too. Well, the drinks were free and the girls were hot. Sometimes distraction and escapism really helps.
Hope this one has a happy ending.
Also yes, those eyes.
You know what, my first breakup is actually worse than this... gunna have to share that at some point but need to fill you guys up with some lovely stories first ;)
You were working in the DR as well? Wow! Small world! I don't know anyone (outside of those I met down there at the time) that have traveled down there to work!
I wonder if your experience was similar to mine?
The DR? Nah, I am from Singapore. I worked at Zouk. Most popular club in South East Asia, sort of.
Experience in working? Well... I just remember a lot of drinking, meeting people and talking to girls.
But after a bit it got tiring. The hours were shit. And people mostly made use of you cause they wanted to get in for free.
Oh OK, I misunderstood- I was close with all of my security guards/bouncers back in Canada as I worked in bars for years so I completely understand. I saw them get used constantly... really not nice of the women who were just trying to get in free.
Too much drinking for sure though!
I was and am close to the boys still. I can tell nightlife just takes a toll.
