Just the very thought of you brings tears to my eyes,
The fleeting memories of your iconic smile.
And of the days in the past , we laughed we cried , Oh darling
Promising to be there for each other.

But it was all a pretty lie,
that you my dear spewed out through your iconic smile..

Trust me darling I ain’t even mad at you
Promises after all are meant to be broken .
But the hurt and the pain of betrayal still stings my bosom ,
For we promised to be there for each other
