Have you ever wondered where your socks, bobbins, guitar picks, and other small things go? Well you're in luck! I know just where they go.

The Little Gnome Thief

Once upon a time there was a little gnome, her name was Rosie. She was a regular garden gnome who took care of old Ms. Clogsthworth's garden. Then one day, while Ms. Clogsworth was out, Rosie snuck into the house. Her little red clay feet made clinging noises as she walked across the dark brown wood floors. She was looking around, mesmerized by all the large things that she saw. Everything was so large to her. Rosie stumbled as she stepped onto the soft, fluffy, white carpet. She stumbled as she walked across the carpet. She stopped as she came to a crisp white sock that was laying in front of a giant chair. She was very interested in this thing that laid before her. She was so interested that she grabbed part of it and drug it behind her as she left the house. Rosie took the sock out into the garden and hid it in her little hobbit hole behind the lovely roses. She pulled it through the small halls of her little home and into, what looked like, her bedroom. She laid it in the middle of the floor and looked it over. She thought that it was strange how it had changed from crisp white to more of an off white, this made her even more curious of what this thing could be. She heard a little bell start ringing, which meant that Ms. Clogsthworth was almost home. Rosie went as fast as she could, which wasn't very fast, out into the garden and back into her position. She stood completely still as she watched Ms. Clogsthworth walked past her and into the house. Once Ms. Clogsthworth was in the house, Rosie moved from her position and went back into her little hobbit hole. She waddled down the halls and into her bedroom and grabbed the tip of the sock. She drug it to another room where she had all kinds of things, everything that had fallen into her garden. She put it in the middle of the room then left. She went back out into the garden and started doing her job of taking care of the flowers and plants and cleaning up the garden. The next day, while Ms. Clogsthworth was out again, Rosie went into the house. She went even father into the house and found something else that really interested her. She looked at a small brown bobbin that was laying on the tile floor in the bathroom. She picked it up and tossed it around trying to figure out what it was. She took a couple of bobbins then left the house and took them into her hobbit hole. Rosie put them in the room with all her other strange objects. The next day Rosie was sitting in her garden when she heard a strange noise that she had never heard before. The noise was coming from the house to the right of Ms. Clogsworth where the lovely lady Annakin Der lived. Rosie stumbled out of the garden and onto the lawn. She waddled through the grass and across the drive way. Rosie stumbled through the hedge that separated Ms. Clogsthworth's yard from Annakin Der's. She waddled through the grass and over to a window where she climbed up onto a table and looked through the window to see what this strange noise was. Rosie saw Annakin strumming the strings of some contraption with a magical little object that made noise, and it was such a beautiful noise. Rosie found a way into Annakin's house without being noticed. She found more sitting on a small table and she climbed up and grabbed two then got back down. Rosie quickly left the house and made her way back to her garden. She dropped one of the guitar picks and went back to get it when a monster started coming her way. Rosie couldn't make it to the guitar pick before the monster ran over it, cutting it into tiny little pieces. She was sad, but was to busy trying to get away from the monster to get the pieces. She finally made it safely to her garden and into her hobbit hole. She took her new object to her room of strange things and set it down. Everyday when Ms. Clogsthworth wasn't home, Rosie would go in and find more of her new small objects. When she couldn't find them in Ms. Clogsthworth, she would go to lady Annakin Der's house and take them. She never thought of it as stealing, just as finding, you know finders keepers losers weepers. So Rosie went on, everyday, taking small little objects from homes.
