Game of Thrones - Explanatory theory of how die Cersei Lannister

in #writin7 years ago

Since Cersei revealed to Jamie that she is pregnant and that the baby is hers, many fans (including me) began to speculate about the truth of what the Queen said.

Many believe that Cersei is not pregnant and is lying to control Jamie, but others believe he is telling the truth and that this baby will be his downfall.

Those who believe that Cersei is lying are saying that history is moving too fast to show a nine-month pregnancy.
In addition, Cersei is too "old" to have babies; in fact, Olenna Tyrell expressed this concern when Tywin proposed a marriage between Cersei and Loras.
Cersei would have a great reason to pretend to be pregnant: Keep Jamie under control.

However, there is a very powerful theory that explains that Cersei is expecting a baby that will cause his death.

Why? If Cersei is pregnant, she is on her way to fulfilling the theory and prophecy of the "Valonqar", which means "little brother" in High Valyrian.

This prophecy says that Cersei will die because of the Valonqar and although she has always believed that Tyrion is the threat, many fans believe that the real danger is Jamie ... or this new baby.

in the series, a witch revealed her future to Cersei and told him several things that already came true: that he would marry the king, who would be queen until a younger and beautiful woman would take everything she loves and that she would have three children with golden crowns and golden funerary attire.

Two of the prophecies were already fulfilled and Daenerys seems the most viable candidate to "take everything that Cersei loves".

The key to the Valonqar theory is in a part of the prophecy that did not appear in the series. In books, the Witch also tells Cersei how he will die.

"And when your tears have choked you, the Valonqar will put his hands around your pale neck and take your life."

Since the witch told her that, Cersei focused on plotting against Tyrion, but did not pay attention to the fact that his twin Jamie is also his younger brother. Many believe he will kill her when he finally tires of his tyranny.

And now with this new information about Cersei's pregnancy, there's another possibility. The fans who support the theory of Valonqar say that perhaps the prophecy did not speak of the younger brothers of Cersei, but of the younger brother of their children.

This baby could cause Cersei's death before birth, for the prophecy says he will only have three children. If Cersei's pregnancy ends up killing her, this younger brother who was never born would become the Valonqar of prophecy.

Cersei is already large and his pregnancy can be complicated to the degree of causing his death.

Furthermore, it would be a worthy end for this villain, for his whole life was spent hating Tyrion because he "killed" his mother while he was born. Perhaps your next child will kill her even before she is born?
