This is my entry to the @felixgarciap sweetness poetry challenge.

Hello again, I must say that I have never written a poem, so I searched the internet to see if I got a little explanation. From what I have read it is necessary to express the feelings of a situation through words, they could be feeling about love, jealousy, hate, fear, happiness, etc...

It is necessary to feel first to be able to write, I suppose for some people, it is simpler than for others. Well, since the subject is sweetness, I can't think of anything else for now but what the mangoes make me feel right now. Since we are in mango season, here in Venezuela.

Your sweetness energizes my mornings
Your fragrance invites to a feast
Who doesn't close their eyes to enjoy the perfume of a mango?
A preamble that makes my mouth water
Your taste brings back the battered smile
An explosion of flavors that overflows through the eyes
There are no apples or pears,
but mango freaks anybody out here and there.

Well, I hope I managed to write a poem

I translated it, even in Dutch it sounds great.

You know a mango over here doesnt taste as great as it does under the 🌞.

mango's zijn heerlijk :D (using a translator... OMG! Dutch is hard)

Not growing we import everything except apples, pears, cherries, plums and strawberries we have nothing growing.

A long time ago I had the opportunity to go to Spain. But on the way, I stopped at the airport in Holland. It's gigantic. There are bands on the ground that take you everywhere, I've never seen them before, they're great. Although I don't know if they still are.

From the plane, I could see that this country is very flat and well sectioned. If they cultivate things. In the plane, we were told that the Dutch diet was a glass of milk, bread, and meat (potato too?). I have years (centuries) that I don't drink a glass of milk. It's too expensive. When I buy it, it is for my little niece.

I have also heard about the fight you have against the sea, to gain ground. Awesome!

:D

Yes its flat up here and a big part is underneath the sea level.

The airport (Schiphol) is still there including the bands, but not my favorite place. Way to big. If your plane leaves somewhere else as told you run your legs out of your asses.

I do not know if people drink milk. I think some/many do but not me. But there are a lot of products for sale made with milk.

It was always normal to have breakfast with bread and tea, in the evening too and lunch was a cooked meal.
Times have changed. Breakfast can be anything.
Lunch = bread or anything and in the evening its a cooked meal (fastfood).

Times have changed for everyone. It was 20 years ago when I was in that airport.

I like to know the customs of other places, to see how different we are, maybe what we consider taboo is something normal in another place and then we can see in what part of our history everything changed.

:D

Might be true. I write with prisoners from the USA. What they describe as a normal childhood I find weird, abnormal, dangerous.

Frequently they ask "what is the freakiest thing you did".
How can I answer if I do not know what they consider as freaky?

Do you write to prisoners? Like letters? Or email? o.O?
